Session 1- The Reformation of Prayer
Speaker: Kevin Carter
Series: Annual Leaders Workshop 2018
Sermon Info:
The Annual Reformed Leadership Workshop is a combined effort of the ministers of Grace OPC/Lisbon, RPC/Lisbon, Bethel URC/Brockville, and Jubilee CanRC/Ottawa to provide ongoing officer training and broader fellowship in the Reformed faith for the men of our region. The speaker this year is Rev. Kevin Carter, pastor of Hope Presbyterian Church in Kington, Ontario, a church plant of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
This first session considers the way in which prayer needed reformation during the times of Martin Luther, and especially John Calvin. They labored to restore prayer to the mediation of Jesus Christ, and as a means of grace.
