A common question is, how are Christians to deal with corruption in high places of government? There are many ways you can answer that question. As Christians, we are to remember that we have a dual citizenship (Acts 22:22-29; Phil. 3.20) and a responsibility to both. Now, Jesus’ enemies tried to trap him in this sort of question and he responds to his interlocutors in this same manner to expose their hypocrisy and how they had forgotten their most important duty. God is King of all kings and he is the priority.
